Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks
This area is has lots to do and see: small local museums, boat tours to see dolphins, etc. It is truly an old-fashioned tourist trap that should not be missed. That being said, I have lived in the area for 20 years and still go there to shop and eat at least once a month. The food is AMAZING!!!! …
This little tourist area is a must see. Amazing restaurants, an aquarium where you can pet the sting rays, and daily and nightly cruises. This historic areas is one of the largest Greek communities outside of Greece with a sponge diving and shrimping industry.
The Sponge docks is a Greek infused touristy spot for sightseeing and shops and FOOD! Have to go!
