After a challenging hike up to Pen Cerrig Calch with sweeping views across to the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains you can drop back down to this charming little town, awash with flower fronted pubs, cafes and a variety of local independent shops.

Crickhowell is about a 1/2 hr drive from us along the back lanes. It is a lovely town and has some interesting shops and good places to eat. You can park in the main carpark and walk down to the river.
