Squire Boone Caverns
Squire Boone Caverns is a living cave with rushing streams that carry more than a million gallons of water through the cave and over rarely seen underground waterfalls. In fact, you’ll find the largest rimstone dams accessible to the public in the United States right here.
It's closer than mammoth, a bit smaller, but really neat to check out if you've never seen a cave before.
If you'd like to do some spelunking but don't have time to go to Mammoth Cave, check out Squire Boone Caverns. Call first to see if you need a reservation.
Squire Boone Caverns and Village is a cavern exploration attraction in Mauckport, Indiana The park consists of a one-hour walking tour into the caverns, as well as a working pioneer village and grist mill.
