If you like to get up close to the dogs of the sea and learn more about them in their natural habitat, Seal Bay is for you. An hour and a quarter from Sue's place, you can pay for a guided tour with rangers who have a wealth of knowledge about seals.

Seal Bay is 90 minute drive from Fides Lodge. You can walk the boardwalk to view the seals on the beach from a distance alternatively there are regular tour times daily and if you join a tour you can walk the beach and get up close to the seals. Check their website for tour times and plan your day to arrive in time to join a tour (no need to pre book).

Different price options depending on whether you'd like to get up close or observe the seal colony from the deck. Beautiful spot.
