For your afternoon or morning swim :) No reservations required. Open to the general public, Major Beach is located near Camping Sainte-Agathe and the Sailing School. It is the largest beach on Lac des Sables. Due to the distancing measures still in force, the admission capacity has been reduced. Patience, politeness and good manners are necessary. Business hours : 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Season (June 19 to August 29) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Off-season (August 30 to September 5) Offered services Free parking Swimming area supervised by qualified lifeguards according to the standards of the Quebec Rescue Society Canteen ($) (open on sunny days from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hours may change without notice.) Children's park Picnic tables Toilets (mask required) Outdoor showers and closed changing rooms Rental of watercraft at Camping Sainte-Agathe Beach volleyball courts open by reservation only. Follow the Sport-Plus link (<- you can click here to go to the registration site). Open an account and then proceed with the rental of the board, taking care to select an available land at Major beach. * No refund in case of rain or thunderstorms * Authorisation Charcoal BBQ or small propane tank (16 oz. / 453 g / 1 lb) Prohibitions Non-smoking beach Alcohol prohibited
