Fun mountain bike trials through the pine trees. Rent a bike from Raglan Cycles on Bankart St and get a map. Koha (donations) taken at the shop for the use of the trial.

Raglan has many biking opportunities including the fantastic Te Ara Kākāriki trails, (also for walkers and horse riders). You can also cycle the walkway from Ngarunui Beach that goes all the way into town, explore Wainui Bush Park and Reserve or do the loop around the Karioi maunga. If you don't have a bike, contact Raglan Rock (raglanrock.com) to hire quality bikes. Raglan Rock's Adventure Centre is located right at the foothills of Te Ara Kākāriki trails here in Raglan, so it's the perfect place to jump on a bike and enjoy your Raglan adventure. Raglan Rock also does climbing, caving and canyoning tours. You can also rent bikes in town and get repairs at Cyclery Raglan on Bankart Street (cycleryraglan.co.nz).

If you’re into mountain biking check out the mountain bike track, Te Ara Kakariki, near Wainamu beach. Head all the way down Riria Kereopa Memorial Drive to the car park at the very end. The track entrance is up the path at the top of the hill.

Te Ara Kakariki is Raglan's newest mountainbike trail, located at Wainui Reserve. The grade 2 (easy) tracks, including the Ocean Trail, are perfect for families, whilst more challenging sections are great for the more advanced biker.
