Interlochen Center for the Arts
Check online for free and ticketed events. If a headliner is on (and you don't have tickets) during your stay, head down, get a coffee or ice cream and sit in the public square next to the open sided concert hall. Audio quality is pretty darn good and you can even get a few glimpses of performers.
Wonderful concert series with international artists and shows by campers every summer.
Inspiring, world class arts education and cultural programs. Concerts year round.

“You can walk here in about 5 minutes! Recently almost doubled in size, this art museum has a rotating slate of interesting exhibits featuring all kinds of art. They have one of the largest permanent collections of Inuit art in America. Also a very fun museum store with unusual gifts and souvenirs.”
“If you like beer this microbrewery is the best. Don’t neglect to order the food though as it is highly recommended. Fun atmosphere with outdoor dining in the middle of town. In winter months they even have curling. Order the “Rainmaker””
