As well as basic essentials, you can also find delicious cakes and home baking at the shop plus soup and filled rolls. Try their speciality, the "Elgolian", a roll filled with locally caught squat lobsters in their secret recipe sauce. The shop also stocks a variety of crafts and gifts from across the island. Opening hours: 1 March - 31 October - Monday-Saturday 10am - 5pm 1 November - 24 December - Tuesday-Saturday 11am - 3pm Closed: 25 December until 20 January 21 January - 28 February - Tuesday-Saturday 11am - 3pm The shop also has a "pod" at Elgol harbour, which opens during the summer months (weather dependent) and sells freshly caught seafood and home baking (open 9-5.30)
