Rattlesnake Canyon Trailhead
This is a beautiful hike 2.5 miles from Casa Dulce. Follow signs for Skofield Park. It's name comes from its serpentine shape, not because there are a ton of rattlesnakes. You can go out and back and far as you want. It is uphill and gets to incredible views. Well worth it the effort.
Personal favorite hike in Santa Barbara! Beautiful trails that lead up to a meadow. Moderate difficulty.
Also a great little hike. A nice little stream and a lot of shade. It’s a local’s favorite. Also, for more trails check out my Santa Barbara trails book in your room!
“Inside a public market with the yummiest noodles and all sorts of gluten free and vegan options”
“GREAT small local Italian restaurant, owned and run by an.... Italian! Off the beaten track on Upper State Street, nearish to the Whole Foods Market and next to the post office and Gelson's. Also around the corner from Chaucer's Books - best bookstore in SB. ”
“Every burger imaginable and only a mile away. Owned and operated by Cat Cora.”
“One of my favorite wine tasting rooms in Santa Barbara. Located in the Funk Zone, Kunin offers Rhone style wines. The staff is super friendly and rarely do they have a miss. They'll also recommend wine tasting rooms to visit, so don't be shy and ask where to go next! This is an excellent starting place within Santa Barbara.”
