Lovely pub with great ales and food - booking needed for food at weekends, but there's usually a great atmosphere there Fri, Sat night. Sometimes has live music too.

If you walk from Ditchling to lewes, or just visit Lewes by car, this pub is a truly British place to go. Good pub grub.
