This local favorite is within walking distance of our cabin. Eat a home cooked meal and dessert. Don't miss out on the strawberry shortcake or homemade tenderloins. Watch the river rush over the dam as you eat, aling with the countless humming birds on the feeders in all the windows. Once you are finished eating walk back to the bar in the backyard for a drink.

I love Bernadotte Cafe! Try the local version Viensnitzel, we call them Tenderloins and nobody does it better than Bernadoote Cafe...Also sit outside next to the spoon river watching the fish jump off the only dam on the river! Just minutes away from the ruins of a German Prisioner of War Camp, Camp David.
