Excellent restaurant! Fabulous glass and glass blowing demonstrations. Best of all my sister, Kate, is a cook and expediter there and has been there 30+ years.
Great food and house stuff in the store. You can see them blow the glass in a gorgeous setting.
Simon Pearce is a wonderful all-around experience. Situated in a converted mill, the restaurant overlooks the spectacular mill falls. You can watch glassblowers as they work during daytime hours, and shop in the beautiful (but expensive) flagship store before dinner. We prefer eating lunch here so…
Veranda with waterfall. Again worth going just to see the shopping experience.
Fueled by the rushing Ottauquechee, our turbine-powered glassblowing studio is the place to watch artisans trained in Simon’s techniques create functional works of art. Our award-winning farm-to-table restaurant also overlooks the river, and our bar is a sweet place for a sip and a snack.
Lovely spot for dinner, drinks, and shopping. Don't miss the glass blowing demonstrations on lower level and stand on the platform overlooking the Quechee falls.
“The deepest gorge in VT described as Vermont's "Little Grand Canyon". Enjoy beautiful vistas 168 feet from the bridge above the Ottaquechee River and enjoy hiking or walking the trails along the mile-long chasm. Entrance to trails can be found on either side of the bridge.”
“Terrific family friendly museum. Part of the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park. Gorgeous trails on old carriage roads lead up to the star that overlooks the Village of Woodstock. X-Country grooming on those trails during winter. Wagon rides and sleigh rides available through Billings Farm.”
“Popular, rustic counter serve featuring gourmet, farm-to-table New England eats and craft beers.”
“Small peak, 1357 feet located in Woodstock, Vermont. The mountain has a multitude of hiking, running and Nordic skiing trails.”
