The Museum is housed in a community building Paleopolis, sponsored by the Vassilis & Foundation Elizas Goulandris. His collection includes sculptures, statues, coins and inscriptions, which found in the excavations of the ancient capital of the island of today's Paleopolis. The most important exhibits are the marble lion and her marble statuette Artemis.
