Athena at The Parthenon
The Parthenon stands proudly as the centerpiece of Centennial Park, Nashville's premier urban park. The re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena is the focus of the Parthenon just as it was in ancient Greece. The building and the Athena statue are both full-scale replicas of the Athenian originals.
Great place to take a little look at Nashville history! Awesome park with a few neat structures.
This full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Greece is a must-see on your trip to Nashville. Enjoy spending the day outside in Centennial Park, or purchase tickets to explore the art museum inside. Great location to bring the family.
Standing proud in the middle of Centennial Park, the only true-to-size replica of the Parthenon in the United States is definitely a must-see in Music City!
Great piece of history in a beautiful park (Centennial Park) though it would not let me select just the Parthenon. I would NOT bother paying to go in and seeing Athena!
“Pulled pork sandwich with white sauce! Just a heads up, all barbeque in Nashville is served with pickles and/or slaw. Be sure to specialize if you aren't a fan of either toppings! ”
“A great place to get liquor and wine. Say hi to Dave, the manager. Keep in mind that in Tennessee, liquor stores can't be open on Sunday, so pick up what you need on Saturday.”
