Zambra offers Spanish-influenced local tapas - think farm fresh produce, meats and coastal seafood - plus an award winning wine list and cocktails. A stone-topped bar, and other warm Moorish touches create a lively, ambient vibe.
Asheville's original, classic tapas restaurant. They don't get as much credit as our other Spanish Tapas joint, but this place is just cozier, more romantic and delicious than that other place (who shall remain nameless).. Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere! Try the Sangria!
AMAZING Spanish tapas. You'll probably see more reviews on Curate, our other Spanish tapas restaurant but I personally prefer Zambra both on taste and ambiance.
Zambra Tapas, Wine and Bar offers farm to table tapas (small plates) with tastes of Spain and North Africa and hundreds of wine options from the Iberian peninsula.
Consistently voted Asheville's most romantic restaurant! Wonderful atmosphere, inventful tapas.
“A group scavenger hunt that introduces you to downtown through a unique and customize-able blend of local food, wine tasting, gallery tours, shopping sprees, art projects and more.”
“Also one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to, but this one is all about celebrating Indian Street Food, so it's a completely different experience from our other prized Indian restaurant. You must try the kale pakoras! Even those that are afraid to eat kale will love them!”
“Some of the best Latin food EVER and probably one of best/if not THE BEST restaurant in town. Be sure to make a reservation before your trip! Hot Tip: There's a wonderful craft cocktail and tapas bar by the same owners next door, called En La Calle. If you forget to make a reservation, you can pop in here for a drink and snack while you wait for a seat at Limones.”
“An eclectic book shop/coffee shop/wine bar/event space... whatever you want to call it, this place is amazing and definitely a must-see. Located in the Grove Arcade, it's surrounded by restaurants and local shops.”
