Make sure you go to Island Gelato in the shipping container on the south side of Oneroa village - for locally made ice creams and gelatos - the salted caramel is out of this world.

This ice cream is delicious, with inventive flavours plus some old staples and lots of dairy free options there it caters to everyone. Expect a bit of a queue on a hot sunny day, but it moves quickly. I like to enjoy mine on Oneroa beach which is only a few minutes walk down the hill from here. They also do good coffee and have ‘best ugly’ bagels on their breakfast menu. If you haven’t one of tried these yet you’re in for a treat.
