As the inner neighborhoods of Amsterdam have gentrified, they have pushed out diversity in favor of formulaic hipsterish stores and bars. Bos and Lommer is still a rather multi-ethnic and diverse neighborhood: the great Turkish food of Bir Tat testifies to that diversity.
