Cortez Beach is across the street, if you walk south on the 1.5 mile paved walking/bike path you will have a scenic walk with public bathrooms, changing rooms and will see the Coquina Cafe and Tiki Bar located on the beach.

Cortez Beach is located on the southern end of Anna Maria Island just over the bridge connecting Longboat Key and Anna Maria Islands. The villa is located in the Historic Longbeach Village neighborhood on the northern tip of LBK just before you reach the bridge and this beach. This beach is beautiful, but does get crowded especially on weekends and holidays. There are lifeguards, restrooms, showers, a restaurant, and playground at this beach.
