We've been countless times since it's re-opening : ). If you love Art-Deco (we obviously do, just look at the villa : ), you'll love this building inside and out. Enjoy a glass of wine and food while you wait for the movie to start or book a comfy lounge chair in the theatre and enjoy your wine while watching the movie! Certainly worth the experience!

A retro cinema experience, this recently restored independent theatre is a great place to catch a movie, take you wine or beer in with you. Food and drink are available at reasonable prices.

The Star Theatre is a historic Streamline Modern/Art Deco theatre in the inner Launceston suburb of Invermay, Tasmania. serving light meals, coffee, tea and alcoholic beverages, watch your favourite movies in style. Only a few minutes walk.
