Our favorite restaurant in Louisville. Perfect for a date night. Walk around Bardstown Road or Baxter Avenue before or after.
History-laden, circa-1933 eatery with high-end Southern fare & cocktails in an old-world setting.
This place is a Louisville Institution. Step back in time and just enjoy the food and live pianist. You'll need to be sure to get a reservation. The space is small but they pack them in on a nightly basis.
Reservation highly recommended a few days in advance. Ask for a corner booth, as the center tables get cramped and noisy. Pricy, but worth it!
“Cherokee Park is a beautiful park with lots of walking, running, or even driving space. It’s also surrounded by many stunning historical homes in and around Cherokee Triangle.”
“A Louisville institution. Chef Kathy Cary has been using exclusively locally sourced ingredients long before it was cool. A 10 minute walk. ”
“This super Restaurant serves the best fish and drinks around they have valet parking but save the money and walk the one block to Bardstown Rd.”
“$ An old church turned craft beer dispensary. Has an outdoor patio and choir loft seating upstairs. Some food. A little pretentious.”
