Historic place dedicated to the Roman cuisine, with copper pots, wicker baskets and old photos on the walls. Good appetisers, spaghetti alla gricia, cacio e pepe, involtini, trippa and so on...

Great hidden restaurant where you eat outside on the street with locals. Also, around the corner is another great restaurant: La Botticella on Viccolo del Leopardo. Not cheap but both very romantic!

Lucia's hostaria is in Trastevere neighborhood from 1938: she offers roman traditional dishes - carbonara, cacio & pepe, coda alla vaccinara, polpette among the others - and you can have your meal sitting outside in the sun. What an experience! Search for "Trattoria da Lucia" on tripadvisor
