Brooks' is a great old store with tons of history. It used to be a post office and a general store. It is currently run by a descendant of the original owner. All kinds of original items don the walls and shelves, including a stuffed parrot that used to greet people at the store years ago! The best fried bologna sandwich in the state can be had here (it's true, they voted on it and everything) as well as hoop cheese sliced on an ancient cutter. They sell almost any kind of sandwich at reasonable prices and hand-cut, homemade fries.

Great food and a fun place to visit!!!! The very best cheeseburgers and fries! Breakfast on Saturdays a must! Homemade fudge and fried pies. Wonderful family owned. Love their Rugby Rumbles with antique cars twice a year and also special events with lots of specialized food and great gospel, bluegrass or Americana music! They also have a campground and soon will have a treehouse for rent!

A little piece of history established in 1917, now a local landmark and nationally known for their famous bologna sandwiches! Family owned since it opened and now run by the beautiful Tiffany, who will fix you up, chat you up, and let you walk out the door feeling 100% full on food and goodness. Take the time to walk thru the store to see the family letters written during the war, the old postoffice, historical items and antiques. Make sure to save room for a fried pie and tell her Angela from Dickey's says HI! Located close to historical town Rugby TN and Frozen Head State Park and makes for a great one day trip!
