the cathedral is superb and its Renaissance houses now used as boutiques lead to the one of the best prehistoric museums in France

Périgueux is 1.5 hours from us, and hosts amazing buildings, restaurants and bars. As well as a bustling Saturday market with fresh produce and plenty of local Périgueux duck! Perfect for a day out.
