It's reputation speaks for itself. Vail is gorgeous any time of year. Despite being only a couple hours from Denver (traffic dependent), you'll probably want to make it an overnight as there is a lot to see.

Vail is an 11 mile drive (or $4 bus ride) to the east feature high-end restaurants, a European feel, and a backdrop of Spruce and Aspen-lined mountains and waterfalls.

Vail is not a shopping mall but street friendly walking town. Go walk around the Town of Vail, shop, eat, drink, put your feet in Gore Creek, take Pictures, eat ice cream, enjoy!
