Gino’s at the Point
This recently opened restaurant along the water is getting rave reviews from the neighbors. If the parking lot is full, you can park up the hill at Marine View Church and they will drive you down. Or walk the 1.3 miles from the Airbnb but remember it's all uphill on the way home!
Upscale Italian. Expensive, special occasion restaurant but is in walking distance and has a happy hour menu and a great take-out menu.
“Browns Point Lighthouse Park (4.03 acres) lies on the tip of historic Browns Point, and provides waterfront access for the community. A large green space makes this a nice spot for a picnic as you watch the deep-sea ships entering Tacoma’s busy port.”
“just past the store, has fantastic views of Mt. Rainier, pleasant fine dining. ”
“The microest micro brewery I've every been to. This little neighborhood joint has a loyal neighborhood clientele and a very well-attended trivia night (7PM on Thursdays). You might need to get there a little early to make sure you can secure a table on trivia nights.”
“Small neighborhood bar with good vibes, a pool table, and karaoke every week (after 9PM on Thursday). They also have live music before karaoke on some nights. Note: the Sand Bar is attached to the Brown's Point Diner (people sometimes have trouble finding it without that tip).”
