Great for the kids. An outdoor trainset and lovely gardens. And a huge collectables museum inside of all sorts of retro items. And don't miss the lookout across the road. Pay a few bucks to get in or, or go down the fire trail around on the left side for free. Also some nice cliff top walks here.
Enjoy stunning views from the grounds and take a tour through the toy museum. An enjoyable experience for all ages.
An amazing collection of dolls and railway memorabilia in the Unique, not to be missed. The beautiful Everglades Garden, designed by the legendary Paul Sorensen, is nearby, as is Leura Village, the upmarket shopping hub of the Mountains.
“Great little bookshop with latest books, well priced. (no I do not know the owner - just love this bookstore!)”
“Like to play golf? The Blue Mountains offers plenty of places to play including Leura Golf Club, Blackheath and Wentworth Falls.”
Point of Interest
“The scenic railway is the world's steepest incline railway! A not to be missed adventure in the blue mountains. Travel down a scream inducing railway through a tunnel and slot canyon to arrive at breathtaking views of the valley and some great rainforest walks. If you have to wait to get first in line (very end of the platform), do so, it'll be worth it getting the front seat. It's a difference experience up and back, so we recommend you do both directions. Although you can take the sceniscender up or back as well. Very popular though, avoid crowded peak times on nice weekends. The rainforest in the drizzle is lovely.”
“This place is very cool. Look for stunning quality mens and womens leather goods, jewellery and clothing.”
