Just a short walk and located on the ground of the Village at Grand Traverse Commons brings you to the smell of fresh baked bread and pastries.
Do yourself a favor and pick up a loaf of the Date, Fennel, Sea Salt bread. Toast it up and slather some butter on it. Maybe a touch of honey on top. The best!
The olive bread and the Pleasanton cookies! Ahhhh! If you love olives, then I don't care what you're doing—stop and go here and buy the olive-parmesan loaf. Just do it. And get a Pleasanton cookie while you are there...one of my all-time favorite cookies: sunflower seeds, oats, chocolate...crumbly…
“This place is amazing. Super affordable. Order at the counter. In warmer weather you can wait next door at Left Foot Charlie. Sit on their patio with a glass of wine, cider or beer...OR get a great cup of joe at Uncommon Grounds. When your order is ready, grab your tray and bring it over. They do have some indoor/outdoor seating and there is always takeout. Super affordable and AMAZING!”
“This local farmers market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday morning May-October. Saturday will often feature over 100 vendors with fresh produce, pastries, flowers as well as many other local products. Watch for Halls Sweet Corn in August so good!”
“It’s within walking distance and has a great vibe. Friendly servers and great cocktails. ”
“The view is spectacular. Ignore the signs and go to the bottom for a swim...unless you don't think you'll make it back up. ”
“Great morning walk from the loft, and yummy coffee. If you want a coffee to go, you'll need to bring your own mug. Otherwise have a cup and sit in or out on the patio.”
