10 minute drive - small quaint little cafe with great breakfast- affordable but hard to get into - no reservations and usually a wait but worth it - if it's too busy, go to Biscuit House on Gallatain Ave.

“Great Burgers and Bear Garden. I also love bratwursts. If you love sausages grab the sampler plate and a friend because it's a lot of food. Don't forget to get a soda at the soda fountain. pssst you can add alcohol to those sodas as well. ”
“Great vibe for causal and spacious hangs as well as amazing food and coffee. ”
“NY style pizza. Grab a lunch/late night slice at the window or order an entire pie. Many folks argue that it's the best pizza in Nashville. Undoubtedly the best in East.”
“Marche Artisan Foods: casual brunch, mimosas, recovery morning food and fancy crepes.”
“Located in the Five Points section of East Nashville, Bongo East offers great coffee/breakfast fare and a homey atmosphere where you can play one of 400 board games in the shared space with GamePoint. A little over a half mile away which you can walk or drive.”
