Cisco's Restaurant, established in 1950, is an East Austin Staple. This legendary diner ranks with the Broken Spoke and Continental Club as one of Austin' s most iconic institutions. Cisco's breakfast and lunch has drawn locals, visitors & politicians for decades, and is now serving dinner too! It is a must-visit for tourists; Longhorn football fans; neighborhood residents; and just about every local, state, and visiting politician. This place has a history of bringing people together. The historic 1914 building earned historic designation in 2019. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner before heading out on foot to see what East 6th Street has to offer.
