$5 movies! Like most theaters in Portland, they have tap beer.

Family-run, old-school theatre that does first-run flicks. A 15 minute walk and it is across the street from Blackbird Pizza, where I like to get a drink and shoot some pinball. They have beer and popcorn available, and it isn't overpriced, like Regal. Tuesdays have 5$ night, but it is usually 7.50$ anyway, so is cheap however you look at it.

Independent movie theater, classic feel, homespun goodness. Serves beer/wine. Bit of a walk, but do-able from the lil house. Or hop on the #14 bus and this will take you right there.

Great little indie theater screening cool film selections. Check out the genuine 1950's pink and black restroom.
