The Third Place Coffee Shop

Raleigh's FIRST coffee shop (I think). Still kicking for coffee and bagels. Check hours and seating, though. At Five Points intersection
This is a quaint, established coffee house and at the time it was founded it was only Raleigh’s third coffee house, thus the name! My favorites are their flavored lattes and their crumb or coffee cake as well as the breakfast burrito (no bacon). Delish!
Well known (to locals), and well loved coffee shop. Cozy seats, great coffee, reasonable prices, and good food too!
Again, you can walk here, which makes it great but they also have some of the best coffee in Raleigh. Love their housemade granola and other baked goods too. And their springtime smoothie is delicious!
“Nice place to grab a drink and some pub grub. Have a patio out back if it's cool enough and sometimes have some live music as well. Great place for brunch as well!”
“Local laid back brewery within walking distance. Think picnic tables and ping pong.”
“Cozy bottle shop with a great selection of beers and wine. Quiet hang out spot and a good central point to find dinner spots”
“Located in Five Points (about a 10 minute drive toward downtown), this is a local "dive" and the pizza is out of this world! (At least in our opinion). On Friday night there'll be a line out the door.”
“Very local gastropub. Beer, burgers and duck confit. You know, that kind of strange industrial cool place with good food served on metal trays and good beer that they make there. Reminds me of White Duck Tacos in Asheville, in it’s earnest hometown vibe, a good antidote to corporate mall food.”
