The deepest gorge in VT described as Vermont's "Little Grand Canyon". Enjoy beautiful vistas 168 feet from the bridge above the Ottaquechee River and enjoy hiking or walking the trails along the mile-long chasm. Entrance to trails can be found on either side of the bridge.
Very nice place to hike and swim in the river. National park Near by is a Quechee Village which has glass blowing and antique shops and restaurant. Also near by is Simon pierce Glass blowing and Restaurant.
Take a bathing suit and a picnic lunch to spend a morning soaking in the beautiful views. The hike to the gorge is an easy 1.5 mile round trip walk down a gradual slope. Bathrooms available at the visitor center.
