The Kompaszaal is located on the KNSM Island in an arrival and departure hall of the historical location on the K.N.S.M 1950. Now a day's transformed to a grand café / restaurant The Kompaszaal. Their terras is know for their most beautiful sunset of Amsterdam. You can have a drink at the bar, lunch/diner in there restaurant, play of pool/billiards and in the evening the have live music. On the friday evening Jazz from the 1950's, lindyhop you go!

Only locals know this hidden restaurant/cafe. The Kompaszaal is unprecedented spatial Amsterdam standards. The view is fantastic. Nice people and great food.

Beautiful 50' interior. Great terrace to grab the last bit of sunshine. The grand café / restaurant located in the former Arrivals and departure hall of overseas steamboats. Price main course: €17
