Adjacent to Brown's campus is the RISD Museum: one of Providence's premier locations for culture, art, and design. The museum features artistic exhibits from many different periods and places. I particularly enjoy the modern art wing and the student art sections!

“Super fun zoo for the kiddos. There is a water-splash area and lots of hands-on exhibits in the zoo, plus a large park outside the zoo. (Seasonal) It is about 57 minutes away, but worth the drive for a day-trip.”

“We've lived in New Orleans, and the mushroom po-boy here is one of the best that I and my meat-loving husband have ever had. Seriously! In addition to dinner, they also have an excellent brunch. This is the same group that operates the delicious veg spots Garden Grille and Wildflour Vegan bakery. ”
“Julian's and Nick's on Broadway battle it out to be THE brunch place in Providence.”
“Prospect Terrace is a cozy little park tucked away in the historic side streets of Providence. It sits on top of College Hill and overlooks the entire city. During the day or at sunset, it's an incredible view of our little city.”
