Like sushi?? This is your neighborhood sushi place! Food and service are both so good! The king crab roll is a must - served with hot butter!! For lunch, try a chicken, beef or steak bowl.
One of our favorite places for sushi. Definitely get the King Crab roll...you won't be disappointed!
GREAT Japanese small plates and sushi. There's a fantastic happy hour with appetizers and cocktails, too. I recommend the Yellowtail Collar.
Weird, I know, but this Japanese gastropub (yes, in Texas) is really good (and I've been to Japan). Price = Moderate.
“Go here for an amazing breakfast taco! And if you've never had pozole, you gotta try it!”
“This eclectic Magnolia Avenue vegan restaurant is one of my favorite lunch places. It is sunny and bright with a diverse and delicious menu. I love the cashew quinoa spinach wrap and have been sorely tempted to drink the agave dressing that comes with it. Portions are large and you will not leave hungry. I haven’t tried their breakfast but I hear the pancakes are legendary.”
“You'll need to make a reservation, but the restaurant is amazing. Good food, great service, and such a wonderful atmosphere. ”
“1408 W Magnolia Ave (7min walk) Prohibition-era cocktail bar with flavorful and unique twists on classic concoctions. $10-12 per cocktail, $2 off during happy hours (weekdays 4-7). No food, but you can bring food in from any nearby establishment. Located in a nondescript single story brick building with some outdoor seating in the back.”
