I like this beach on the Southside. Nice breakwater and has bathrooms and showers. Snorkeling can be good here as well.

Beautiful beach park for a picnic while watching the sunset. There is a shower, covered picnic tables, boat launch, beach and a grass field. It's usually pretty relaxed and not busy. Views are lovely and swimming is safe.
