You can see the spire of St. Mary's Cathedral for many miles around. The cathedral was finished in 1855.

Pugin was the architect. I is a beautiful example of his work. Mass times daily mass 10.30am 6.30pm weekdays 6.15pm Saturday vigil. 8am,10.30am and 12pm Sundays

A huge architectural and cultural focus point is the imposing St. Marys Catholic Cathedral sandwiched in between Killarney town and the National Park. There are other intersting churches to vist for different christian denominations such as the beautiful Franciscan friary and St Marys church of the Sloes (Anglican) in the heart of Killarney.
