Brushy Mountain was Tennessee’s first maximum-security prison holding the state’s most violent murderers, robbers for over a century. They offer an in-house distillery, a restaurant, paranormal tours of the prison and concerts in the evening with nationally known headliners.

It's an old historic prison that is surrounded by wooded terrain that made it difficult for prisoners to escape. It closed in 2009 but is now open to the public for tours to see how prison life was. They make and sell moonshine there and also have a restaurant and a souvenir store. It's a must see! Concerts are held here also!

You've probably heard of it, now you can tour it! During open season, you will find a great place to eat "The Warden's Table" and shop. If you are into Moonshine, they make it right here and sell it! Concerts are planned throughout the open season!
