Centre of Singapore is DG as it's the main interchange station, start of Orchard Road. There is also a shopping mall, called Plaza Singapura.

Downtown Orchard Road Starts Here. Direct MRT To Dhoby Ghaut Station.

Not the closest MRT station but the largest in Singapore and only a few more minutes of walking away. It connects three MRT lines giving you possibility to roam entire Singapore cheap and quick with the MRT.
