All the buildings, including the administration and on-site accommodation harmonize with the theme of the 1850's Australian gold rush days. The gold rush theme park takes you back in time enabling you to discover life as it was for the pioneers on our goldfields. The change from the 21st century begins as soon as you cross the path to the machinery and printing shed which stores engines from early last century. Cross the time-warp bridge and find yourself in a bygone world of little timber and stone buildings - a replica Goldfields village. Sounds of the past may break the forest silence, when you hear the slap of the water wheel, the crunching of the quartz and the belting out of Betsy the steam engine.
