Tilden Regional Park
Tilden Park is a gorgeous (and huge) park with incredible views of San Francisco. Within the park there are plenty of things to do, including riding a steam train, the “little farm,” etc. It’s a wonderful place to sit and take in the sights of the East Bay and beautiful San Francisco.
Tilden Park, one of East Bay Regional Park District's 3 oldest parks, offers more than 2,000 acres for outdoor adventure. Activities include a Botanic Garden, Environmental Center, Merry-Go-Round, Steam Train, Lake Anza and Tilden Park Golf Course. Entrances are off Wildcat Canyon Rd. and Grizzly…
Nearby hikes, about a 10 minute drive up the hill. We like to start at Lone Oak Trail Head or Lake Anza.
Great place for hikes with breathtaking views. Paved, well-marked, and with immediate vista payoffs around every turn, Nimitz Way is a multi-generational crowd-pleaser.
Nice park located on the Berkeley Hills. The drive to the hill is uphill, but the view is breathtaking
