The Ship Inn at Elie is very popular with locals and visitors alike and is a great option for lunch or dinner. They use the best of Scottish produce and sell local ales and it is very prettily situated next to Elie Bay.

Excellent home cooked food and locally brewed beers. Friendly, helpful staff. It is recommended to book for meals as its a popular place. Outdoor promenade seating for those sunny evenings 😎 Dogs are made very welcome too!

A decent walk along the coast (around 1.5 hours) for a well deserved pint in a lovely seaside pub with good food. Great beer garden overlooking the beach. There’s beach cricket on sometimes too - check website for more details. You can bus it home or make use of the Ship Inn’s complimentary taxi service. Dog friendly
