A public 9-hole golf course less than a mile down the road. Designed by Stiles & Van Kleek, Hooper is regularly named one of the top 9-hole golf courses in New England, and the world. Even if golf isn't your thing, Hooper course is a lovely place to take a stroll and admire the scenic countryside. Stop into Watkins Tavern for local craft beer and light fare after you hit the course.

Sweet 9-hole course in nearby Walpole, NH. Inexpensive, beautiful course (no clubhouse or restaurant, though)
