Enjoy beautiful Butterfly Beach across the street from the Four Seasons Resort. Then shop through the locally owned stores along Coast Village Road, Montecito.
Less touristy than the beaches next to downtown. If you decide to walk or bike, take Channel Drive to Fairway Road for a beautiful flower adorned path adjacent to the coast line. Extend the trip and grab lunch at Cava or Mesa Burger.
Across from the four seasons Biltmore in Montecito. Beautiful lounge with bar open to the public. Great ocean views and live music some times. This is a perfect beach for kids, running, walking or swimming. We see seals every time and even dolphins most of the time.
My very favorite beach. I love to walk here regularly, when the tide is low you can walk to the pier in Santa Barbara and back easily. Dogs are welcome and dog owners are respectful and pick up after their fur babies. Easy free parking too.
Beautiful and local gem across the street from the Four Seasons. You can look at the Santa Barbara Harbor from these beaches. Spot a few famous locals.
“Widely recognized as purveyors of the best mixed drinks in town, The Good Lion serves up classic cocktails as well as a bevy of creative originals in a speakeasy-style atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgable bartenders are happy to help you find something you'll like or take a bottle of vintage amaro off the top shelf for the especially curious.”
“The Honor Bar in Montecito is a great place to see and be seen! Lunch is fairly reasonable, happy hour and dinner more expensive. Great food and service and a nice outdoor space. Reservations highly recommend. Opentable. Com. Open daily. 1255 Coast Village Rd. Suite 101, Montecito”
“Tapas and great drinks! Very lounge like perfect to catch up and talk with friends ”
“This is the locals favorite Mexican restaurant. Most tourists will go to La Super Rica, one of Julia Child’s favorite places. It’s good too but be prepared to wait in a long line. Los Agaves is fantastic. Three locations but this one is the closest. 600 N. Milpas St., SB. Open daily.”
“Amazing lawn to relax on and the mission itself is historic. It has a lovely Rose Garden. The girl who was lost in the book, Island of the Blue dolphins when found lived here and is burried in the Mission. ”
