Definitely my favorite restaurant in Telluride. The food is superb and the service impeccable. I also feel like it has more choices on the menu than some of the other high end restaurants. It does come at a price, so please check the menu on line if you're on a budget.

Cosmo has recently expanded to provide a lovely outdoor deck with firepits and outdoor heaters, and the views up into the mountains are lovely. Service is excellent and this is fine dining, with prices to match.

Once a grand saloon in the thriving mining camp of Telluride, the Cosmopolitan is now home to the fresh and innovative creations of Chef Chad Scothorn. Chad has been honored by an invitation to the James Beard House in New York City. Serving dinner nightly, this elegant and simple 70-seat restaurant is located in the Hotel Columbia at the base of the gondola in downtown Telluride. Known locally as "Cosmo," the restaurant features an entry with a custom cherry wood bar, the perfect place to unwind. The Tasting Cellar Located downstairs from the restaurant, The Tasting Cellar is designed for private parties of 12 to 32 people. This space is an intimate, rustic, candlelit wine cellar with group menu and wine pairing options.
