Great views, cafe, restaurants, shopping, but also a great river for the kids to have a swim without the waves crashing over them. Go to the Barwon Heads bridge over 300m long for the new years eve fireworks show.

A short drive or a nice walk along the beach gets you to Barwon Heads. A busy main street with many good cafes / restaurants to choose from.
