18 Bay is owned and operated by chefs (and husband-wife duo) Elizabeth Ronzetti and Adam Kopels, who serve a four-course Italian-inspired menu that functions as a direct reflection of the local farmers markets. Dinner begins with antipasti, followed by a handmade pasta, an entree, and a dessert — and the offering changes each week. Furthermore: handcrafted cocktails are made with organic syrups and the wine list offers local wines (including two on tap) alongside international wines from small producers.
Goodness, I love this place! Maybe it's just my inner Alice In Wonderland who loves to try little bites of some of the most wonderful tasting foods ever... their tasting menu is so fun, delicious (also filling!). It's especially exciting for me because they can do the entire menu vegetarian if you…
Always a wonderful meal...a quaint old farmhouse transformed into a great space!! $$$...on the pricey side
Worth the price of the ferry to Shelter Island. This is a wonderful place to eat. Our friends are the chefs. There is a single price for meal and choice of entrée.
“Fantastic dining!! Just a beautiful 2 minute ferry ride from GP to Shelter Island and a minutes drive up the road!! One of my favorites!!”
“Local pharmacy selling all the usuals including the "Post" with an old-fashioned diner counter! ”
“Best food in town; though pricey, it's well worth it. Try the Oysters Friskafella.”
“Everyone knows Aldo, a pioneer of the north fork and Greenport, who knows what proper Italian espresso bar feels like — don’t forget scones and biscotti”
