Many great trails including the Caudill Cabin trail which crisscrosses the river 17 times and ends up at a late 1800s cabin. The last 30 minutes to the cabin are quite steep.

Doughton Park is just 10 miles south on the Parkway. There are picnic areas and recreation areas to visit
