Zip lining (about 15 zip lines in the canopy) with a jungle tour to see sloths and monkeys. Only 9.5 KM away. Our kids love it, trust me this place is worth it. They don't advertise well, we recommend calling and making a reservation!

Hacienda Barú Wildlife Refuge is a private reserve has a canopy (zip-line) tour, tree rappelling, and rainforest, mangrove and beach hikes.

Hacienda Barú is just north of the beach town Dominical, only an hour's drive from our finca. They offer an outstanding zipline/nature hike tour with knowledgeable guides and in complete safety. It's more reasonably priced than other nearby zip lines too! Best time is the 8 AM tour as it's cooler then.
