Come for the food, stay for the 'tude. Malibu Kitchen is a New York deli transplanted to the west coast: lox and bagels, fresh pastries. Seinfeld, Dr. Melfi and other New Yorkers love the joint.

Great deli and sandwiches. Lots of sweets too. Cupcakes and cookies are insane! Everything very hand crafted and yummy. Meatloaf sandwich? Yes, please. Also, the sliced turkey sandwich with brie and cranberry...bomb. But whatever you do, stay off your cell phone!!! They don't like them.

Get the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw or have them make a panini prosciutto parma sandwich on the panini grill. Then the single serving chocolate mousse desert - to die for!

Because this market and cafe is situated in the Malibu Country Mart, right across the PCH from Malibu Lagoon State Beach and Surfrider Beach, it’s a great spot for grab-and-go sandwiches, salads and snacks for the sand, or to eat there before or after.
